SO YOU WAITED 'TIL THE LAST MINUTE TO MAKE RESERVATIONS?
tsk. tsk. tsk.

Alright, alright, we're still thrilled that you're joining us for the Cabaret this year.  Our reservation checker has headed to the farm to set up the show so any reservations emailed to her after noon won't be checked until tomorrow so:

Here they are, the clandestine details:

BE EARLY.
It takes awhile to park everyone and then there's a long stretch of road to walk up before you make it to the ticket booth. We want everyone to be able to see the whole show, but we don't want to wait, as we time the show based on the sun, and there's no waiting around on the sun's part.

DIRECTIONS
For those of you who want to look at a google map: 593 South Pleasant Street, Amherst, MA

Or for those of you who just want directions:

If you are coming from the center of Amherst and driving south on Rt.116/South Pleasant St. towards Hampshire College, a sign for Bramble Hill will be on your right.  If you reach a set of lights without seeing the Bramble Hill sign, you have just passed it!  Turn around!  One of us will be at the entrance to the farm to welcome you and help you park.

We highly encourage you to carpool for reasons of capacity, environmentalism, and neighborliness.

The PVTA #38 bus can also take you to within walking distance of Bramble Hill.  The bus stop you want is on Rt. 116 just by the bridge over the Forte River.  Walk north on RT. 116 toward Amherst center and Bramble Hill will appear on your left.

COST
Tickets this year are on a sliding scale from $10-20, and can be paid for upon arrival with cash or check. Kiddos are by donation.

TIME
The Cabaret starts this year at 5:00. It takes 5-10 minutes (depending on how fast you move) to walk up from the parking lot to where we start, and as the show is dependent on the sunlight we do tend to start on time. (I know, I know, we said this already, but it's important to us!)

PARKING
If you can, carpool, bike, bus or walk!  (There's a bus stop right nearby at the traffic light!) We have limited spaces available (even fewer if it rains!) There will be parking attendants down below to help you but please remember not to park anyone in, not to park along the road side (just in parking areas) so that the residents of the property can travel freely, and  take care when driving on soft ground, as this space is generously shared with us by folks who live there.  Lets keep it beautiful and safe for them!

RAIN PLAN
Sadly, it does rain sometimes and as this is outdoor performance...c'est la vie!  Our rain plan is as follows:
If it is threatening to rain or very lightly sprinkling we will push forth in to the muck and mud of the evening and you and your umbrella are welcome to come along or go home and get cozy. If it is downright pouring then we will hold a performance inside, once at 5:00 and once at 6:15, as we can only fit half of the audience in the indoor space at a time.

WHAT TO BRING:
This is an outdoor walk on farmland in the evening so please dress warmly, wear sturdy footwear and come prepared to go for a very gentle hike, a ramble really.  Bring a mug as we end the evening with hot cider and tea. We'll have some extras in case you forget, but it's more fun to go hiking with your favorite mug in anticipation of something delicious!

SPREAD THE WORD!

Please help us get the word out about our fabulous upcoming event and tell your neighbors and friends that they, too, should reserve a ticket, hop in your car with you, and come out for a gorgeous October evening full of magic and who knows what!

We hope we've shared with you some helpful and clandestine details.  If you have further questions, concerns or comments don't hesitate to get back to us!
